HOW TO REQUEST FOR TRIMMING OF TREES

Description: This service is offered once trees or plants in public areas are hazardous to the general public. This is under the mandates of Presidential Decree 953.

1  Client/s: Constituents having problem with trees in center island and sidewalk

3  Location: Parks and Playgrounds Commission, Plaza Independencia, Cebu City
4  Availability: Monday-Friday / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
5  Duration of the Service:
6  Requirement/s: Letter request from the concerned individual. However, request may be done through phone call especially when it needs immediate action or the safety of the public is at risk.

7  Procedure in Availing the Service:

1. Submit request letter to office Receives request letter from client Janet G. Libarios 5 min.
2. Coordinate with Parks trimming in charge as to the schedule of inspection Schedules date of inspection. (Inspection schedule every Wednesday) Manolito Briones 5 min.
3. Accompany personnel-in-charge to the location during the inspection. Inspects location of trimming. within 1 week
4. Be at the location while the trimming is being done. Trims trees 4 hours to several days

Can DPS have the option to just email the said letter or concern and will just verify them by asking for a contact number which could be a land line number of mobile number for more convenience to the public. This could really make reporting of defective lights faster.
